斯坦福裁员363人,UCLA陷10亿罚款危机,深圳学子能否逆袭藤校?

临近开学季,特朗普政府再度掀起政策波澜。


8月8日,美国司法部向联邦法院提交动议,申请撤销此前对"哈佛大学暂停招收国际学生"的临时保护令,使本就复杂的留学政策再度出现反转。

与此同时,斯坦福大学为应对高达1.4亿美元的预算缺口宣布冻结招聘并启动裁员,加州大学洛杉矶分校(UCLA)则面临特朗普政府索要10亿美元和解金的压力。在国际教育市场波动背景下,2025-2026申请季准高三学子正密切关注:美国高校是否会扩大国际生录取规模?深圳等地的优秀学子能否把握"抄底藤校"的机遇?本文梳理了最新美本早申政策与文书要求,建议收藏备用。

 

八月既至,申请准备的紧张程度远超高温天气,25-26届申请者的心理波动更甚于台风过境��】作为同届毕业生,我的申请筹备工作也在紧锣密鼓进行——逐校检索政策、反复打磨文书、经历无数次推翻重写的循环。这段经历让初次接触美本申请的我深刻体会到:求学之路从来充满变数。

 

在繁杂的准备过程中,汇总关键时间节点的指南能为申请家庭提供重要参考。本文将系统整理美国Top30综合大学与文理学院的申请截止日期、标化考试要求及面试政策,形成清晰对照表格。

 

正所谓"经历风雨更懂为他人遮风挡雨",虽身处申请季的"暴风雨"中,仍希望这份整理能为他人的规划提供些许帮助。

对许多家庭而言,首次接触美本申请犹如踏入未知领域。以下针对申请类型(ED/REA/EA等)及标化要求的常见问题解答,或许能化解部分困惑:

 

“Test-Required”是 SAT 还是 ACT?

两门考试都接受,选一门即可。请注意:这里的“Test”不包含针对国际学生的语言能力测试,如托福、雅思等;大部分学校对于语言能力考试还是有硬性要求等。 

 

“Test-Optional”要不要交?

如果分数在申请的学校往年 50% 区间以上,建议交(比如说,如果50%在SAT1500,那提交一份1470的分数不是个好主意);低于区间则可不交。不交并不会对申请材料有负面影响,但也切勿“没事找事”。

 

ED、REA、EA 区别?

• ED(Early Decision):绑定录取,一旦录取必须去。

• REA/SCEA(Regulated Early Action/Single Choice Early Action):只能申一所私立名校,但录取后可不去。

• EA(Early Action):不绑定,可多校同时申,但并非每个学校都提供。

 

综合大学

后疫情时代,有些学校将疫情期间的Test-Optional(即可以交标化、也可以不交标化,且不交标化对于申请没有负面影响)甚至Test-Blind政策延续至今,但也有如哈佛等大学恢复了对于SAT/ACT的强制要求。

 

在下的拙见:还是尝试准备标化,给自己多一点选择!

 

文理学院

而对于文理学院,Test-Optional非常普遍,可以说除了几所军校之外都可以不提交标化成绩。具体的数据如下:

 

相对综合大学,文理学院的影响要求相对宽松,但对于学生综合能力的考量一点没有放松!在标化考试之余,美本申请的“痛点“中肯定少不了文书。学生不仅要用精确的文笔把自己的活动和个性融入到一篇字数限制严格的文章中,还要想法设法在招生官停留的短短十几分钟内吸引他们的注意。

 

在接下来的文书分析中,我会将藤校的小文书题目列出,并每个学校选几个具有代表性的题目进行简短分析,希望可以帮助到各位挖掘到一点思路!

 

普林斯顿大学 Princeton University 

目前文书题目还未公布,但每年的申请中都会有一个要求:

Graded Written Paper Requirement: Submit a 1–2 page academic paper from a high school English, social sciences, or history course, including teacher’s grade and comments (if available).  

 

即需要提交一份1-2页、在高中校内完成、老师打分评价的人文类文章,同时观察学生学术水平以及校内学术严格度。

 

哈佛大学Harvard University

共有五篇小文书,一篇150字:

1. How will the life experiences that shape who you are today enable you to contribute to Harvard?  

【中文】塑造今天的你的生活经历,将如何使你能够为哈佛做出贡献? 

 

2. Describe a time when you strongly disagreed with someone about an idea or issue. How did you communicate or engage with this person? What did you learn?

梳理完上述要点后,最终发现申请的核心始终围绕着你自身。奖项、标化成绩、活动经历、文书内容等要素固然关键,但更值得关注的,是你积累这些经历的成长轨迹。

 

当招生官反复审阅大量高度相似的优秀申请材料时,一篇充满个人温度、展现多维成长历程的文书往往更具穿透力——或许正是那篇完整呈现"英雄之旅"(Hero’s Journey)的申请文章,会成为打破同质化竞争的关键!
